THE BRIDE & GROOM
As told through each other's eyes

Sefy Paulose
BRIDE
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Sefy will always be the first to hype up her city and everyone else around her. The most genuine, wholesome, and caring person I know, Sefy would go to the end of the world to put a smile on your face. She brings instant happiness to those around her with her energy, positivity, and of course laugh.
I’ve never met someone who could make juggling work, school, friends, family, and a social life look so effortless. From being one of the most likeable in college and med school, to ace-ing every test, to always staying in touch with family, it just came so naturally to Sefy. With her incredible work ethic, skill, and personality, Sefy graduated Summa Cum Laude, received numerous awards and scholarships, graduated medical school, and matched not only into one of the most competitive fields, but at one of most prestigious ophthalmology programs in the nation - New York Eye and Ear Infirmary at Mount Sinai (she’s now realizing NYC is actually the better city).
Sefy can do it all and continues to accomplish one thing after another, making all those around her even more proud, just when we thought she’s already done it all.

Tej Joshi
GROOMLike many New Yorkers, this Long Island Prince spent most of our beginning years raving about his NY bagels, pizza, and sports teams. But after tuning out all that love for New York, you realize that Tej is the most brilliant, humble, and kind person you’ll ever meet.
Tej is genuine, trustworthy and loving – always bending over backwards to do anything and everything for his friends and family. In college, when the rest of us were paying attention in class or studying, Tej would watch sports highlights or random youtube videos. Yet at the end, he still understood every concept better than the entire class combined and scored the highest. Tej graduated college Summa Cum Laude, topped that by graduating medical school AOA (top 10% of his class), and then matched into one of the most competitive residencies in the speciality of his dreams, orthopaedic surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
In the nine years that I have known Tej – I have never heard him praise himself. It was his patience and humility that made me want to be his friend – because I knew this gem of a personality was never to be found again.
